"This is our go-to place in Rome for food and coffee. The food looks and tastes great — plus affordable! The pastries — made by the same family who owns this place — are beautiful and delicious. Staff are professional and friendly. Tell them I said hi the next time you visit!"

"Don’t really understand some of the lower reviews. It was a bit chaotic but service was prompt and the coffee decent. You sit outside for table service it seems. Prices seemed more than fair for a large city. Waiter was helpful and warned about where to put bags for safety (Rome, like many cities suffers with pickpockets) Overall a good experience."

"We have been coming to Colosseo Cafe since 2008. Each time we visit Rome, we stay for at least two weeks and every morning is started with breakfast at the cafe. They somehow recognize us each visit and greet us with hugs and warm greetings! The panini, sweets and coffees are wonderful. The prices are very reasonable and they treat clients like family."

"The pizza was great. Lasagna not so good- the spices were missing. Prices are very reasonable - pizza 10 euro, lasagna 9 euro, beer 7 euro, fresh juice 5 euro."

"The Colosseo Cafe is one of my favorite spots in Rome. We first came here a couple of years ago and met Fabio, Kevin and Abu. Such nice people and wonderful sandwiches and pastries made by Fabio and his brother. When we returned, we found the same familiar faces and the same delicious food and great service. And they remembered us! Now, Veronica, Maria and Julia add to the family atmosphere. Grazie, Fabio and family. We hope to come back."
